Purple People Bridge Climb

Where else could you get normal folks to dress up in a ghey purple jumpsuit and walk across a purple bridge for $60? Yup, Cincinnati. Another demonstration that we have absolutely nothing to offer visitors besides Skyline Chili. The Purple People Bridge Climb is slated to open next week as the only attraction like this in this hemisphere. Wow, let me get this straight. Someone has taken a bridge that no one cares about except for the bad choice of paint color, and makes us think it's impressive to climb this small bridge 140 feet over a industrial river viewing the most wasted effort of riverfront development. Don't let the artist rendition photo above fool you. This is what the area looks like. So where they get this brilliant idea? Apparently from Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The only difference is that their bridge stands over 415 ft in height, and they have pictures of actual people on it standing over a gorgeous city. And I wish I were making this part up, but they plan to do a theme pirate day to coincide with the international talk like a pirate day...
Avast, me hearties! Celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day (September 19) in style. A full day of pirate booty awaits. Dressed in pirate attire, climbers will be “walking the plank” otherwise known as the Purple People Bridge Climb.
